Visit BaltimoreCampaign Creative and Content Production
Baltimore has a robust tourism industry that supports local businesses and cultural institutions. When COVID caused nationwide lockdowns, it deeply affected the livelihood of these businesses and their employees. In an effort to help support the Baltimore community through an economically challenging time, Visit Baltimore invested in a marketing campaign to showcase the everyday people of Baltimore’s restaurant, retail and cultural scene to attract visitors to the city through a campaign that emphasized COVID safe tourism. We created TV and social spots, as well as OOH that were featured across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to entice travelers to take an easy road trips. The campaign featured 15 independent businesses and institutions in the city to support their local reach.
We provided creative strategy and production services to create the tourism and hospitably focused campaign, titled, “We’re Ready”. It was told through the voices of the front-line worker’s voices as businesses welcomed visitors back, highlighting key safety precautions and the unique experiences visitors can have in Baltimore. To help support each of the business featured, assets were created for them to advertise and market themselves individually with paid media buys behind them, all supported by the city.
